It is presently Dr. Arlene Kubit's privilege to enjoy private practice as a prosthodontist (a dentist specialist treating and handling dental and facial problems involving restoring missing tooth and jaws structures) in Erie, PA. Patients are generally referred locally or from North Western PA, Eastern Ohio, Southwestern New York and West Virginia.
Treatments may range from routine dentures, crowns and bridges on healthy teeth, those compromised by periodontal disease or for dental implants, to Phase I and II TMD treatments and special requirements such as palatal obturators, overlay partial dentures, occlusal splints, and surgical stents for maxillofacial surgeries and dental implants. The majority of these appliances are prescribed, designed and fabricated in whole or in part by herself and staff in an in-house laboratory. We cater to "Zebras." (Zebras are medical conditions which are out of the ordinary. All zebras are horses but not all horses are zebras.)
As a member of the local community, Dr. Arlene Kubit donates time and her professional skills to St. Paul's Free Clinic and is a member of the Cleft Palate Team at the Cleft Palate Institute of Erie, PA. She has also participated in M.O.M in PA (Mission of Mercy in Pennsylvania) - an organization which travels to different sites giving free dental care to the public as well as the "Give Kids A Smile" program for free dentistry for children.
In down time the doctor relaxes with yoga and Pilates and has for many years studied adult Ballet and Tap at the Long's School of Dance performing at the Erie Warner Theatre for the annual Spring Recitals and Christmas shows including a Tap number at the 2016 Jazz Erie Show.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kubit's for over 20 years. She is the most skilled, professional and caring dentist I have ever encountered. I have referred many friends and family to Dr. Kubit. All have received excellent care by Dr. Kubit. She is truly one of a kind.
